FHB risk is low for wheat flowering today throughout North Carolina due to recent dry weather. Risk is likely to remain low due to little rain in the forecast. The susceptible stage for wheat is flowering and for barley is heading. Most of the wheat in North Carolina has already flowered or is flowering now, and barley is likely past heading.
